If we had to sum up web hosting in a simple formula, it would be: servers + people. The first part is easy – anyone could get servers. Maybe not the best ones out there, but essentially, servers are relatively easy to find. But what makes the big difference, are the people. Combine good hardware with the unique approach of skilled professionals and the attitude of great people and you get a unique product. That’s our company’s philosophy and in order to achieve it, we need unique HR practices. We recently had a new wave of fresh talent hired for the SiteGround Technical and Customer service departments and in the heat of the new training season, we decided to tell you a little bit more about what it takes to become part of our team.

Every week of the challenge we posted a new infographic explaining one of our unique features. In the final stage of the competition, our clients were invited to vote for the coolest technology by sharing their feedback in a comment. Our unique security technology gathered most of the votes and was chosen as the coolest Siteground feature among all others. The SiteGround events team is back after ten busy days in the city that never sleeps, two major events and loads of good time and Starbucks lattes. SiteGround Went Skiing

To be a part of the big SiteGround family is not only a constant challenge but also a great privilege. The energy and enthusiasm that we put in our every-day work is being ceaselessly revived by the numerous events and vacations that we take part in. Several months ago we were surprised with another such news – an upcoming ski vacation that will allow SiteGround winter sport lovers to spend some time together in the mountains.

Do you know that feeling when you’re not in front of your computer, but you need to find something online quickly – you thank God for your smart phone. It has everything you need in the palm of your hand. You start browsing on your phone, looking up what you need online. And then the frustration kicks in – even if it is a website that you use every day on your computer, if it is not optimized for mobile devices, opening it up on a smart phone and finding what you need can take ages. Up to the point when you give up – and simply try googling a new site that will give you what you want faster, on time and in a way that you can easily read and interact with on your mobile phone.
